It is for Microsoft WindowsMac OS Xand Linux. By using VoIP to make the calls, it is very cheap to call another phone. It does not cost money to call another Skype user.

Every Skype user has a unique username which other users can use to talk with them.
Skype also has additional features such as video calls and multiple members in a conversation. In the chat you can also find a selection with a variety of emojis available.

YouTube

YouTube is a free video sharing website that lets people upload, view, and share videos. Videos can be rated, and the number of times a video has been watched is put on the site.
At the moment, Google owns and operates YouTube.

Many different types of videos can be put onto the website.

  •  YouTube was started on February 15, 2005 by three former workers of PayPal

YouTube is blocked in many schools because it allows children to search for videos online that would otherwise distract them from their lessons. Some other social networking sites and game sites are blocked for the same purpose.

Facebook

Facebook is a social networking service and website started in February 2004. It is owned by Facebook, Inc.
As of September 2012, Facebook has over one billion active users.

The name of the service comes from the name of the book given to students at the start of the school year by some universities in the United States. These books help students get to know each other better.

  • Facebook allows any users who say they are at least 13 years old to become users of the website.

Facebook was started by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates.
The website's membership was only for Harvard students at first. Later it included other colleges in the Boston area, the Ivy League, and Stanford University.
